The State of Pokemon in 2025

Hey everyone welcome to my blog. We will be discussing the state of Pokmon. Pokemon has always been popular ever since the debut of it back in 1996. The hype for it has never died down, Pokemon Go coming out in 2016 made the hype crazy but that is not even close to how it is now. Pokemon has recently came out with a new mobile game called Pokemon TCG Pocket. This game coming coming out has gotten alot of people back into the hobby and have made them start to purchase the real cards and get into collecting. The problem with this is it is very hard to find product now and there are so many bots and scalpers that ruin it. Scalpers are people who will buy lots of product and sell them for 3 to 4 times the msrp price. This kills everything because people who want to collect the cards do not have the chance too because of these people buying everything and selling it for way too much. The newest set that came out on Friday the 17th was sold out everywhere and is selling for 4 times the amount it usually cost. The Elite Trainer Box cost 55$ USD and it is getting sold for $150+ by scalpers. This link explains how companies are planning to combat the scalping.

The Pokemon Company released a statement following the release of Prismatic Evolutions and how they are planning to help the people and stop the scalpers by reprinting this set at maximum capacity.

Journey Together Next Pokemon Set To Release

 Journey Together Pokemon TCG Set Journey Together is the next set in Pokemon TCG to release. The set will be available to the public on March 28th. This set is getting very hyped up which is no suprise because of the hype of the two last sets. This set will be a trainer set. A trainer set means the trainers from the game have them illustrated on the cards as well as their pokemon for example the promo card that comes with the packs will be N's Reshiram which is down below People love trainer cards and so far the artwork that we have seen from the cards look amazing. Each set keeps getting better and more exciting. This year is going to be very good for Pokemon as well as hectic. McDonalds "Dragon Discovery"

 McDonald's Dragon Discovery McDonald's released a promotion that started on January 21st until February 24th. Every happy meal will come with a Pokemon booster pack that has 4 cards. Three non holo and 1 holo card. They are reprints from previous sets. There are 15 total cards in this set to collect. This was an amazing move from Pokemon as the hype for it has been so huge this and last year. The holos has a cool design from McDonalds. It is a confetti holo. You can see below to see the pattern. This is a very cool collab and is fun. When you purchase you will receive a code for the new mobile game that came out to get rewards.
